Alternative skin for Alchemy synth

Alternative GUI skin for excellent software synth Alchemy by Camel Audio. Skin is created for its free Player version.

Aim was to create simple, modern, non-cluttered and easy to navigate GUI with clear visual hierarchy of elements. It uses common visual language of software synths like knobs, displays etc. with just a subtle illusion of 3D depth.

Website for video hosting and streaming service. Logotype is derived from Play button pictogram, created in two versions – one as 3D object with vibrant colors to be featured on homepage, the second one as flat object for applications in smaller size. Website design consisted of both public and administration interface.

CZECH SHORT FILMS VOL. 1-4

Four editions of DVD containing selection of Czech short films. I have created complete graphic design, DVD package design, DVD menus, accompanying promotional materials, fair trade stand graphic design etc.

Design uses areas hand-colored with crayons, hand-drawn symbol, handwriting typography contrasting and interacting with sharp content areas with exact “digital” layout. This corresponds with films on the disc – they often combine traditional and lo-fi cartoon etc. technologies with digital image capture.

All editions were designed as part of series so all editions would create nice collection.

Oracle New Year card concept

Concept of non-ordinary minimalist new year card created for Oracle Czech Republic. The concept did not make it to production.

Main idea was to show timeline of years from year Oracle company was established to today and beyond, with upcoming year visible through cut hole in the cover. Additional element was gift measure with lenticular effect.
